Monthly offset

The first group on SettingsBilling.

Monthly offset

Amount
What you pay each month, and where it came from: a usage band, your sampled usage, or a custom amount. Change opens the offset picker.
Status
Charged automatically each month, with the next payment date.
Auto-billing on
Status
The amount is saved but no card funds it. Nothing is charged until you turn on auto-billing.
Not billing yet
Status
Nothing will be charged. See Cancel and resume.
Cancelled
Contributed to date
The total of your offset payments that have cleared, and how many there were. Support payments are not included.
To our climate partner
The 90% share of your paid offset payments, plus the 10% Token Offset has kept. Shows once a card payment has cleared.

90% of every offset payment goes to our climate partner, and Token Offset keeps 10% to run the service. Token Offset is a for-profit company and isn't a charity. Payments aren't tax-deductible. How funds are held and directed is set out in the Terms of Service.

Changing the amount

Change here and Adjust estimate on the dashboard open the same picker. Choose a band, the API calibrated tile if a source has usage, or use minus and plus for a custom amount. The full control list is on Dashboard, Adjust estimate.

Usage bands

$7.99/mo
Agentic
Coding agents and multi-step workflows. Sized for about 300M tokens a month with an agent token mix.
$12.99/mo
Extreme

$245/mo
Band prices sit a little above the raw contribution rate to cover partner and processing costs. See Contribution rate.

Limits and timing

Range
Per month. Custom amounts move in $1 steps from the selected price.
$4.99 to $10,000
When a change applies
From your next payment. The current month is not prorated, refunded or charged again.
Sampled estimates
A weekly refresh can move your estimate, but your amount only changes when you pick Update offset.

Payment

Payments run through Stripe inside the page; you never leave tokenoffset.com. Token Offset sees the card brand and last four digits, never the full number.

Payment

Turn on monthly billing
Shown while your plan isn't billing. Opens a card form with your monthly total. Submitting it takes the first payment now; the next one is a month later on the same day. Some banks ask you to confirm in their app first.
Manage
Shown once auto-billing is on. Opens three controls:
Update card
Replace the card on file. The next payment uses the new card.
Stop auto-billing at period end
Ends billing after the period you already paid for. Your plan and amount stay saved, and Resume auto-billing appears until the period ends.
Resume auto-billing
Undoes a stop before the period ends. After it ends, use Turn on monthly billing again.
If a monthly payment fails, update the card under Manage. Email support if it still fails.

Support Token Offset

An optional extra on the Billing page, separate from your offset.90% of your offset goes to our climate partner. All of your support goes to Token Offset itself, to pay for servers, provider API costs and building the product. Token Offset is a for-profit company, so support is not a tax-deductible donation. It is never counted in your contributions or impact numbers.

Support Token Offset

Monthly
A line added to your monthly payment, on the same card. Presets $2, $5, $10, or any amount from $1 to $500. It starts with your next payment and nothing is charged today. Requires auto-billing to be on. You can also add it on the card form when you turn billing on.
One-time
Chip in once, any time. Presets $5, $10, $25, $50, or any amount from $1 to $1,000. Uses your saved card in one click, or a different card. Limited to 5 attempts an hour.
History
Every support payment with its date and type. Each one-time payment also sends a thank-you receipt by email.

Cancel and resume

Danger zone

Cancel offset
Asks you to confirm, then stops future payments. Billing ends at the close of the period you already paid for; nothing is refunded. Your contribution history stays.
Resume
Restarts the plan at the same amount, from Billing or the dashboard card. If the paid period hasn't ended, billing carries on as before. If it has, turn billing on again.

Stop auto-billing or cancel?

Stopping auto-billing keeps your plan, so the dashboard keeps showing the amount and your impact while you decide. Cancelling marks the plan cancelled. Either way, no further payments are taken after the current period.
